Traffic Control Refresher Training is a compulsory training course for workers to remain engaged in a job that involves traffic control and management tasks.
The course is only available to workers who have valid Traffic Control and Traffic Management tickets for the past 3 years.
It is designed to update the knowledge and skills previously acquired to implement a trafﬁc management plan, control traffic with a stop and slow bat, set up trafﬁc control equipment and the use of signs and devices to direct trafﬁc through a work zone.
Government and industry regulations have made it mandatory for workers holding traffic control or traffic management qualifications to undertake a refresher training course to renew their certification once every 3 years.
Legislation and regulations that apply to traffic control may have been updated since you completed your initial training.
This course will help you refresh your knowledge and skills so you can continue to follow safe work practices in Traffic Control and Traffic Management so that you can keep working in your current role.
