This unit of competency provides the candidate with the skills and knowledge required to control vehicle and pedestrian traffic using stop-slow bats, hand signals and approved communication devices in the resources and infrastructure industries.
It also provides them with the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others.
This course is delivered over 1 day. We do however suggest that you also complete the traffic management course which allows you to implement a traffic management plan.
