Heard about a Spotter but aren’t sure what they do. Read on to see what it is about and how you can become one “A spotter is a person who is competent for the sole task of observing and warning against the unsafe approach to overhead and underground electric lines and other electric apparatus”. They are required to monitor the operation of plant and equipment on any site where there is a presence of Electricity, both over-head and below-ground as well as any other services below ground.
A Spotter must have successfully completed- 22325VIC Course in Workplace Spotting for Service Assets and be registered with Energy Safe Victoria.
