About Us
MIKKI
Mikki comes to us with extensive experience in both the world of Business and the Secondary Education system. She was previously the Managing Director of the very successful training provider Proven Training Solutions, and prior to that a Secondary Teacher in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. She has extensive knowledge of the education system and pathways available to students wishing to undertake vocational education.
Mikki’s current role as CEO of Procon Training involves ensuring the programs offered to the students provide the education and training required to be employable once the course has been completed. And of course, ensuring that the training meets industry standards whilst also being enjoyable for the student as there is no better form of marketing that word of mouth.
MICHAEL
Michael’s journey in training started after a workplace injury which prevented him from continuing to work in the industry. Michael then went on and completed his qualifications to be a trainer and assessor and has now delivered training for 14 years.
His industry experience spans 23 years in the civil construction industry as a labourer, machine operator and site manager. As such his understanding of site operations, WHS requirements and plant operations is exceptional. His communication skills and personality make his training engaging and ensures that trainees feel comfortable in the classroom and get the best experience out of the course. Michael’s journey is a prime example of not giving up on things even when it seems like everything is against you.

Nothing compromises work and training safety and we cannot emphasize this enough! While hands-on training is crucial for the growth of a student, we believe working under supervised conditions with strict safety measures are irreplaceable which is also one of the reasons why our civil construction course initially focuses on theory, slowly and steadily moving into workshops. This allows them to first gather the required knowledge and then experience a hands-on approach to problem-solving which can help them slowly transition from our training to a full-time job with ease!
